About Warnings:
A warning is a type of alert that can be generated by the control system. A warning indicates that there is something that may require investigation to ensure it is expected behaviour, or if there is a wider issue.
Navigation:
You will be able to see any active warnings in the system by simply accessing the physical panel or logging in to the online portal. No login to the panel is required to view if there is a warning active.
If you wish to see details about the warning, you will need to:
- Access the main panel dashboard
- Click the Warnings Icon in the central alerts box of the main dashboard
- Login to the panel using your 6 digit pin number
- View the warning information as outlined
Understanding Warnings:
Warnings are triggered by certain logic within the control system, where we believe something unusual or unexpected is occurring. Once generated, the number of active warnings will be present on the dashboard.
Once generated, the alert will stay there until either you supress it, or enough time has passed that the system determines the alert is no longer applicable. You are able to notify us to supress the alert for you. It can be supressed for a period of time between 1 minute and 60 days. The particular alert will then not regenerate (if the problem still exists) until the suppression period runs out.
The common warnings presented in the system include:
- There is no calendar schedule defined for today.
- The calendar is missing a schedule in the next 7 days.
- Day pattern index mismatch.
- Over 10 hours of overrides detected for a zone.
- Over 24 hours of door switches detected for a zone.
