Article Summary:
You can supress any active alerts by going to the alerts page in the panel and selecting the alert to supress. As part of the suppression you can choose how long the alert is supressed for.
Introduction:
As part of our Energy Control solution we generate alerts that show where a fault or warning has been generated. These alerts have the ability to be supressed so that they temporarily disappear from your active alerts. A suppression doesn't resolve the alert, it simply hides it from the active alert list.
This article will go through how you can supress your alerts on the panel. For more information on alerts you can see: Faults – ArcSett and Warnings – ArcSett.
Navigation:
In order to supress an alert, access then panel and then:
1. Select the ArcSett Logo in the top left hand corner.
2. Log in to the control panel using your 6 digit PIN.
3. Click the Logo again and choose activity.
4. Select to supress the relevant alert.
5. Choose the length of time for the suppression and submit.

A suppression of an alert will not resolve the alert. Once the period of suppression has ended, if the alert is still present in the system it will become active again and display on your panel.
When you click to supress an alert, a window similar to the one below will appear, allowing you to configure the suppression time:
You can view and manage the suppression of alerts via the activity page. For more information on the activity page see: Activity page – ArcSett.
