About Site Maps:
Site Maps provide a nice interactive visual of your warehouse, showcasing where various hardware is located.
Navigation:
To navigate to the site maps screen:
- Click the navigation logo in the top left hand corner of the panel
- Select site maps from the drop down menu
- Select the Zone Settings option.
Note: you do not need pin access to view the site map. If not site map is displayed, please contact the ArcSett support team to get one set up.
Understanding the Site Maps:
Site Maps are helpful tools, particularly for site managers or onsite engineers who are familiar with working in your warehouse.
Site Maps help users identify quickly where issues are located, as well as analyse how much time is needed for a visit. They are great for allowing users to understand a little bit more about the site zones. Below you can see an example and breakdown of how one looks.
How it works:
The site map works by providing a digital representation of your site layout, including all connected equipment in their appropriate locations.
Once you have access the site map you will be able to:
- Zoom in and zoom out to the image
- Select zones - where you will be able to directly navigate to their status screens
- View equipment location
- View sensor locations
- View door locations
- View control panel location
Uploading your Site Map:
In order to upload a new or revised site map you will need to:
- Create or have access to a site draw drawing.
- Have an online and connected panel.
Once you have these elements in place, you can get in touch with us at support@arcsett.co.uk ensuring you attach the site drawings and request the site map creation. Ensure you let us know which panel you require the site map for.
