Understanding energy performance is often complex. You may need to factor in many elements such as external temperature, business needs, equipment changes and more.
At ArcSett we want to support you as best we can to optimise your onsite energy performance and energy portfolio. We will do this by using data to recommend changes. Part of this recommendation is formed from understanding the energy savings and performance.
Understanding performance:
In order to understand your energy performance, we have a number of ways we can measure performance and/or savings. These include:
- Fuel Analysis: Using energy bills to assess real world performance.
- Panel Charting: Look into panel charting insights and trends.
- Heater 'On' time: Using energy control data insights to assess changes in heater on time.
- Data Variance Trends: Using energy control data insights to understand performance vs target temperatures.
You are also able to export the data from individual panels via the export function. More information on this can be found at: How to view your energy data – ArcSett
Fuel Analysis:
In order to complete a fuel analysis we will require you to send us your latest energy bills. For a full analysis we would require 12 months data prior to the installation, as well as all data post installation that is available.
We will then use your bills and factor in external temperature data to understand the relative performance achieved. Once we have done this we can compare performance with system data to understand where further savings or improvements can be made.
Panel Charting:
You are able to observe the performance trends as part of the panel charting. This can be accessed on every panel via selecting the charting page. You will find a number of charts available that give you different insights. More information on panel charting can be found on the following pages:
- The history chart – ArcSett
- The door switch chart – ArcSett
- The consumption chart – ArcSett
- The override chart – ArcSett
Heater 'on' time:
We are able to extract data from the Energy Controls directly to understand the relative 'on' time of heaters. This can be done on a annual, monthly or weekly basis. We can also look at bespoke periods of time depending on the needs of the analysis.
Data Variance Trends:
We are able to look at relative performance of each zone by assessing the target temperatures its try to achieve and assessing how frequently it is able to achieve these temperatures, including the level of variance observed over a given time period.
