How to make changes to day patterns

You can make changes to day patterns on the Control Panel by accessing the Day Patterns page in the zone settings. Once on this page, you can select a day pattern and configure the day pattern as appropriate. Read on further for more details. 

Introduction:

This article will go through how you can make changes to day patterns on the energy control panel.

Navigation:

In order to make changes to day patterns you need to navigate to the day patterns screen.

Once you are at the panel: 

1. Select the ArcSett Logo in the top left hand corner.

2. Log in to the control panel using your 6 digit PIN.

3. Click the Logo again and choose settings.

4. Select Day Patterns.

5. Action changes as appropriate. 

Changing Day Patterns:

A Day Pattern is a group of settings which can be applied to a zone, and which dictate what times and temperature settings will be applied to the zone for a given day (24 hour period from midnight to midnight).

To make changes to a day pattern, log in to the panel, and navigate to the day patterns page.

Firstly, find and select the day pattern you'd like to make changes to from the drop-down list.

You can then make the following amendments, as you see fit:

• Change the start time 
• Change the stop time
• Change the target temperature
• Change the colour identifier
• Change the name of the pattern
• Add new shifts with unique start/ stop and target details

Note: Remember to click save, to ensure your changes are retained.

When editing day patterns, remember that you can see the settings of other patterns when selecting them from the dropdown. 

Note: If a day pattern has multiple shifts settings, you can select to expand it, in order that it displays information similar to the below, so that you are able to understand it. 

Validation of Outputs:

In order to confirm that the day pattern has been successfully changed you can re-enter the day patterns screen. If changes were successfully saved they will have been updates straight away and will be viewable as part of the day patterns list.
